After a time and many requests for article reprints, a project was born to compile an anthology of many of the articles that were popular through the magazine. This grew into what became a nationally distributed magazine on the topic with articles from many women, who willingly shared their knowledge and experience. It grew from a handful of women who found themselves with a common interest and both the need and reassurance of sharing their concerns and successes with living on the land.
